When Experian committed $5M to relieve debt for 5k Louisiana families, we turned March basketball into a financial comeback story. I led and designed the social takeover, building a tournament-fueled narrative where every LSU win unlocked $100K more in debt relief and put financial literacy in the spotlight.
The takeover format let the brand operate inside the moment itself—embedded in the conversation instead of orbiting it.
Impact
$5 million forgiven. Up to $500K more tied to game-day victories. Peak tournament visibility, athlete-led storytelling, and a surge of engagement that positioned Experian as more than a credit bureau—it showed up like a teammate.
